"This is my country, and I want to live here," said Ali Pirzada, who has worked in Bulgaria for more than 20 years. He is a director of Forensics & Integrity at Earnst&Young Bulgaria. Accepting the invitation of "Bulgaria Wants You"—a project revealing the stories of successful foreigners in our country, Pirzada shares why this country is now his homeland. "I've worked in Asia, Africa, and all over Europe. My wife, who is Bulgarian, and I met in London. When we decided to move to Bulgaria, I was working in a successful company in London. My colleagues were surprised and told me that usually, moving from such a city is to New York, Paris, or Sydney. Frankly, it was a great decision, and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else," says Pirzada with a smile. Bulgaria provides more free time and a balanced life between work and family.
