1100 chairs later, KOMAT is taking a well-deserved break. After a strong finish to the Culinary Pop-Up, we will be taking a short holiday from the 13th of August until the beginning of September.
What a summer! Four culinary concepts - inspiring and bold, with fresh flavours and elegant, minimalist visions... But all good things have to come to an end, and with the Olympic Games, our first culinary marathon came to a successful end, leaving behind memories of long dinners, tempting dishes and lively conversations in KOMAT and its cosy garden.
We take a look back at the best moments of the summer culinary pop-up, which transformed our kitchen into a space for new ideas and experimental taste. Over the last two months we have presented 4 vibrant concepts from Alexander Gotsev, Vladislav Georgiev, Martin Nikolov, Elena and Nikolay Petreliyski. United by creativity, a love of seasonal produce and a sense of lightness, they presented their interpretations of selected items from the KOMAT restaurant menu.
Seven weeks and dozens of extraordinary dishes: different and daring, but always fresh in taste and elegant in appearance. We felt the taste of the sea in Elena and Niki's menu. Vladi combined the taste of the summer garden with the secret of fermentation. Martin chose a simple dish with a sensory component... And we are still under the spell of Alex's tomatoes with espuma and banana cake, served with pistachio and milk ice-cream "like the old days".
We've barely had time to catch our breath and, after a quick review, we're proud to announce that KOMAT's Summer Culinary Pop-Up was attended by over 1000 fans of good and beautiful food. We've worked hard and now we're taking a well-deserved break - we'll be on holiday from the 13th of September until the beginning of September. When we return you'll be the first to know.
Stay tuned for more.
