Monument of the Unknown Wadherwoman — Collectible Print in a Frame
Limited Edition

Located in the garden of the KOMAT restaurant, Pravdolyub Ivanov’s sculptural installation, Monument of the Unknown Washerwoman, transforms not only the appearance of DOT Sofia but also the spirit of Bratya Miladinovi Street. Over 150 multicolored leggings rise ten meters high, creating a vibrant connection to this multi-layered neighborhood. The vanished river that once flowed through the area adds historical depth to the work, which was first unveiled in Luxembourg in 2005.

Today, in 2025, DOT Sofia visitors have the rare opportunity to take home a memento of Pravdolyub Ivanov's work. The limited-edition Monument of the Unknown Washerwoman prints are available in two sizes, with only 25 copies of each, printed on archival Hahnemühle Photo Rag® paper. Every print is signed and numbered by the artist and framed with museum-quality glass.

BLACK DOTS: Art Gathered in a Handful

Created by the Bulgarian-French artist Stefan Nikolaev, the BLACK DOTS sculpture is a cast of his own hand — uniting the perfect proportions of life’s abundance, new beginnings, and the notion of possession. This small porcelain sculpture marks the first Art Dinner of the DOT Sofia Art Collection, realized in partnership with the KOMAT restaurant and Sarieva Gallery.

Guests at DOT Sofia can purchase BLACK DOTS, available in a limited, signed edition of 100 pieces. Her open hand holds life’s most precious things. Sometimes it rests on the table; other times, on a mahogany cabinet beside a favorite piece of jewelry, or mounted on the wall, right in front of our gaze.
