Designer apartments and an impressive panoramic penthouse at DOT Sofia.

I rarely review my stays, however, DOT Sofia truly deserves one. An apart-hotel strategically located close to a tram stop, a local market, and a super market housed in a historical building. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and super clean, with a well equipped kitchen for days where you simply want to cook with fresh ingredients. What elevated the experience was the tastefully curated artworks, the culinary offerings, and beautiful architecture. If I were to make my way back to Sofia, the DOT would certainly be my go to stay as Lydia’s hospitality was exceptional.

The apartment was fantastic. Comfortable and a real home from home. Unfortunately the weather was terrible while we were there but fortunately because the apartment was so comfortable we were very happy to stay in. We also had a couple of lovely lays in because the bed was super comfortable. Also the bathroom and shower were great. We couldn't have wished for a better apartment and Lydia and her team were very polite and accommodating.

Upon arriving. Lydia was the ultimate host. She greeted us to explain the very cool state of the art platform that runs this architectural gem from entry to temperature control. Her attention to making us welcome was impeccable and her personal tips well received. And her well wishes upon departure appreciate d Dinner at Komat before we returned home was exquisite. Both the staff and food memorable…amazing.

This place is something else. Beautiful design, wonderful atmosphere, warm welcoming, cleanliness and location. Very close to almost everywhere in Sofia center. Also amazing restaurant Komat attached to hotel. And host Lydia’s wonderful welcoming and guidance is unforgettable. Really an incredible experience. The design and architecture is stylish and do unique. The engineering of the massive perforated corten steel panels that move on demand are really amazing!
