As part of the 10th edition of KvARTal, our already iconic neighborhood building opens its doors with a 3-day program. We share the spirit of Old Sofia, cultural life, and the hidden gems in the heart of the city!
❶ Friday / Saturday ⇉ KOMAT Experience 🥘
The end of the work week calls for a long lunch paired with at least one good story! On September 12 and 13, from 12:00 to 16:00, every guest at KOMAT Restaurant will receive a complimentary Amuse Bouche with signature techniques and flavors.
Especially for KvARTal, the team has created a four-course tasting menu. And that’s not all?! Guests will discover the rest during the KOMAT Experience.

Children’s Architecture Workshop at DOT Sofia &
Brunch for Parents at KOMAT Restaurant 👨👩👧 🏛
On Saturday, September 13 at 11:00, an architectural workshop for children led by Ani Kalinova will introduce the first steps in building mini structures.
For an hour and a half, the little participants will create three-dimensional constructions using sticks and rubber bands, while parents can enjoy a brunch at KOMAT.
❸ Sunday ⇉ Art Tour with Lachezar Boyadjiev 🎨
On September 14 at 11:00, the DOT Sofia Art Collection will host a special art tour featuring Lachezar Boyadjiev – a unique opportunity for visitors to meet one of the most recognizable contemporary Bulgarian artists.
The tour will be guided by Vesselina Sarieva – gallerist at Sarieva Gallery and curator of DOT Sofia Art Collection, cultural entrepreneur, curator, and art consultant with over 20 years of experience.
The tour will start at 11:00 and last about an hour, showcasing different art spaces in the DOT Sofia Art Collection, located throughout the building’s floors.
❹ Sunday ⇉ Easy Like Sunday, Vol. 2 🍸 🌮 🎵
On Sunday afternoon, good taste will guide the senses straight into KOMAT’s garden!
The occasion is the second edition of Easy Like Sunday – a mix of infectious groove, finger street food, and signature cocktails. In other words – everything we need!
We’ll stop the clock and try to stretch the summer with Trombobby, whose DJ set blends brass sections and hip hop vibes.
The star of the menu remains tacos, joined by mini burgers and other urban delights. As tradition goes, we’ll get messy while keeping our mood spotless.
