We speak with Ivona Stoyanova, the new manager of KOMAT restaurant. After nearly a decade in Copenhagen, she returns to Bulgaria, bringing a wealth of professional experience and inspiring ideas. Her kindness and hospitality will be at the heart of her approach—from her earliest childhood memories to creating an outstanding customer experience.
Join us in celebrating the incredible women in our lives—whether she’s a devoted mother, a thriving businesswoman, or a cherished friend. At KOMAT, we honor Women’s Day with elegance, starting with a delightful brunch and culminating in an exquisite three-course dinner.
We believe that a great stay begins with comfortable design, first-class accommodation, and a cozy atmosphere. A big thank you to Booking.com for the award and to our guests for sharing their experiences! Your high ratings have earned us this special recognition—the Traveller Review Award 2025!
Roses are red, violets are blue! KOMAT presents a special 6-course menu and wine pairing at the 'Flowers and Vines' dinner on 14 February. Valentine's Day or a celebration of wine? Why not both? We'll celebrate the double celebration of Valentine's Day and St. Trifon with the unique stories of 6 signature dishes.
We have used KOMAT's secret ingredients - love of good taste, spirit of discovery and attention to detail - to continue the restaurant's history with a new menu. Appetite comes with food, and good news comes with new hours!
As the new head chef of KOMAT, Todor Grablev tells us what's coming in 2025 and what the New Year will be like from the rooftop of DOT Sofia.
The work "Dreams of Tomorrow" enriches the collection of DOT Sofia with contemporary Bulgarian art and at the same time enters the 11 suites of the hotel with 11 drawings and 11 stories by Nedko Solakov, told with irony, gentleness and real humor.
A new year, a new beginning! As we bid farewell to 2024 with gratitude and inspiration, we tremble in anticipation of the near future as we break new ground!🧡
The hyper-acceleration of our first year shortened our concept of time and put DOT Sofia at the center of the urban conversation.
We associate autumn in Sofia with an awakening of the senses - we eat with our eyes and the taste seems to pass through the colors of the season. A warm palette of memories transforms the hectic city and fills it with a feeling of comfort, peace and ease. We are enveloped in the complex but childlike familiar aroma of roasted chestnuts and honey pumpkin, stuffed cambium, spelt and mushrooms, wild garlic and tahini sauce, eggplant and lentils, prunes and roasted walnuts...
Following “A Sentimental Show” (together with Dimitar Solakov and Mityo Solakov), 2013; “Nature,” 2016; and “(almost) Paintings,” 2019, this is Nedko Solakov’s fourth exhibition with the gallery and the first in its Sofia space at DOT Sofia.
